Memorization Justification

I chose the 10 commandments for my memorization because they are the basics of the Christian faith. If I were to live in a world where the bible no longer existed I would want to be able to teach my children about Christian belief. Also the ten commandments are important because they are what our great nations laws are somewhat based off of. Another reason this would be important to me is because I think that if a person follows the ten commandments they will be able to be a better person.
