oversymplifying sources
talking in circles
abrupt transtitions and bad sentence structure
not citing sources

What to do:

make a strong introduction
make clear statements and well developed ideas
use your own opinion and experiences occasionally
use sources!!!- appropriatley
develop a clear and expoundable thesis

Strategies:

understand the question and read the prompt carefully
make your talking points clear before writing
use at least 3 sources
